Game keeps saying it needs to update

I hadn't opened the game for 20 days or something, went to open it today and it said it needed to be updated, so I did, it took the regular time to update, then when it finished instead of allowing me to launch the game, it still says it needs to be updated. This has repeated for more than ten times now, It says it needs updating, I click update, it loads for a while and right after it completes updating it says again I need to update. What can I do? It never happened before.
