Game Name Unavailable when downloading Battlefield V

I'm also having the exact same issue trying to install Battlefield V: Xbox Subscriber

    We have closed the bug as no new reports came in.

    Should you run into the same issue, then please create a new topic and provide as much information as you can.

Hi everyone,

I have split up the other thread as different issues were reported for different games. As you all have issues with downloading Battlefield V through the EA app, I decided to have all posts about it in a single thread. 

What has been reported so far is:

  • EA Play through the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate promotion. 
  • When looking at BFV on the EA app, it appears as 0 bytes when pressing download. 
  • When pressing download, you receive a "Game Name Unavailable" error message. 

Could you please provide me with a screenshot that shows that the game is 0.0 bytes and of the Game Name Unavailable error message?

@EA_Jason it started working all the sudden. just tried to download it again and now its all good.

    Thank you for letting me know @ThePirate_pete.

    We fixed an issue last night that we believe was related to some games giving the "Game Name Unavailable" error message. 

    For everyone else in this thread, could you please check and let me know if you can now download and install your games? You might have to restart the EA app or clear the cache.
