Please clear the cache for the EA app and the Xbox app, and then give it another try.
The EA app
- Select the three dashes in the far-left corner of the EA app.
- Scroll to Help.
- Click App recovery.
- Select Clear cache.
Xbox app:
Go to Settings> System> Apps & features> Select App> Advanced options> Reset.
Let me know how that goes.

I'm having the same problem however your solution didn't work for me. I'm still not able to access my Game Pass games.
