Exactly the same for me, including the pre-order and subsequent cancellation. it says I have the gold edition which I believe is causing a conflict. None of the nine (!) staff members I talked to seemed able to actually troubleshoot the issue effectively, let alone fix it. One simply told me to "try downloading the game on the EA app..."
They did say it was a known issue that was being worked on, but I'm not holding my breath.
