Games owned on Steam not appearing on EA despite linked accounts?

Hey @plakythebirb, linking your Steam and EA Account will not transfer the games between platforms. Some newer games require both platforms to be linked in order to play but still require you to launch the same from the Platform where you've purchased it. As Spore was released some time ago, this system is not required to use EA App to launch Spore.
