None of my games will launch from the EA app or from the desktop thumbnails. I have tried all the troubleshooting methods found on THIS page as well as elsewhere on the internet. I have the Sims 4 and just bought the 25th birthday bundle yesterday. Today, none of my sims games will launch (those are the only games I have on the EA app). PLEASE fix this issue.
I suddenly started having this problem today. No games launch at all, but they did yesterday, I played the Sims 2 for hours with no issues. I have done nothing to the game today. Sims 2 doesn't, Sims 3 doesn't launch, Sims 4 doesn't launch, hell, BEJEWELED 3 doesn't launch. I just get an endless "Launch game..." window. I have done everything on that page and nothing works. I can only assume an update got pushed that broke the app and cut off my access to about $1000 worth of games.
Same here. Ive tried everything yet my daughter is happily playing her games on her computer without a single issue. 🙃
I just got my game to work!! I put my EA status as "offline" and it immediately worked.

Doesn't work for me because clicking on any of the buttons for my installed games doesn't work in Offline mode at all.
This is how the screen appeared for me, I then clicked on the sims 2 and it worked.

All right, I tried a lot of things, but I FINALLY got offline mode to work. The last thing I tried was just using App Recovery in Offline Mode. It wasn't the first time I've done it, and I even reinstalled the app but for some reason it works now and I can finally play
I have the exact same issue. The EA app wouldn't launch any of my games today, even though it worked just fine yesterday. I've tried repairing the app, clearing the cache and even reinstalling the EA app, but it still wouldn't work. But I tried to go offline, as suggested above, and now it works.

Same here been fine the past week now nothing will launch trying to play my sims 2 legacy after all the issues now nothing will launch.
I, too, had been having a hard time launching all day. At first the offline thing did not work for me until I restarted my computer making sure it stayed offline. Then I clicked the EA app just to make sure its status was offline as indicated by the picture in a previous post. Finally, I hit the Sims2 icon on my desktop and it loaded with no problem. I hope this works for others, but EA needs to fix the launcher on their end since it seems to be affecting all Sims games.
