Hacker linked his EA account to my Epic Games acc. EG says to ask EA to unlink

I've submitted the case twice already, but when I check in "My case", none have been registered, so I can't see if there's any progress. I'm at a loss as what to do here.

Now I got a case and they just recovered the account (?). Man, I won't purchase any EA like this, it's like buying a pricey problem that gets you stuck with support that on ly makes things worse :(

8hh3bim9g6yd​ Glad to hear you were able to recover that account! If you haven't already, it'd be worth going through account security steps for your Epic Games and email account just to ensure both accounts are completely back under your control.

I’m currently dealing with a very similar situation. Were you able to recover your account in the end?

If you did, could you please tell me what helped or what information EA asked you for? I’ve been through several support cases already and I’m still trying to resolve it.

I used the ea advisor, had to be very patient, and it took several tries (and a couple of days). It ended up being that the hacker got in my ea account that was already linked and changed all my data! Ihad to tell them I was locked out of all my games.  They asked me for the email I created the account with, my epic id to find the ea account, then did a security recovery (now I activated the double factor security) and restart browsers and stuff. I could solve it just a couple of hours ago and now I got my account and games back. Just don't drop the ball.
