Random EA account linked to my steam account
I've bought a game on steam and could not play it because of an EA error which stated to reset my password. I found out that the problem might be the random EA account linked to my steam account. I cannot find a way to unlink that unknown account from my steam, could anyone help me?7Views0likes0CommentsEA Play Doesnt Work
So I subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, which includes EA Play, and I linked my EA account to my Xbox account, which already subscribes to PC Game Pass. However, when I wanted to download the game F1 24, which is included in EA Play and I already have EA Play, I was asked to pay again, as if my EA Play wasn't working.CANNOT MOVE TWO EA ACCOUNT TOGETHER
I have 2 EA accounts. 1 I want to cancel. I want to move my gaming name/contact phone number to the second account (which i my account for all my EA games). A. there is no info I can find telling me how to do this, 2. The AI chat box is totally dumb - can't figure out what I want and will not pass me to a human. Love some personal help from EA but at the moment this is impossible.13Views0likes0Comments[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!Solved22KViews7likes203CommentsEA Account horribly messed up with no way to contact support
TL:DR, My EA account is not linking properly and somehow showing two different account in one which is causing authentication errors and steam library sync issues preventing me from playing BF6. I beg of mods and/or support to put me in contact with someone to help because the EA website will not let me create a support case because of the account issues. To begin, I have recently acquired Battlefield 6 and promptly installed to play with friends. This is where it all went horribly wrong. I started fighting anticheat constantly telling me there was something else not secure enough to meet EAs standards. After getting through that battle, I get to the games home screen where it says to press the space bar. Finally, I can play the game. Or so I thought. The game tries to connect to EA servers and fails with code "1:8600 1S:66003S:4688822970:0B". I began looking at my DNS records thinking I had a filter blocking access to their servers, but found that there was nothing being blocked. Still, as per their online documentation I tried Cloudflare and OpenDNS providers to be sure. Still got that same error. I then tried to trace packets on my local network with Wireshark and BAM! Anticheat said it knows better than I do and can't run the game with Wireshark running. So I have no way of tracing packets from the game. who knows, that may still be an issue. Instead without BF6 running, I ran tracert ea.com in Windows terminal(PowerShell) this showed me that I was indeed getting a response from CDN provider akamai. That said, it looked like it was a routing issue, and I am in a double NAT environment. After another couple hours of network troubleshooting I verify that the games UDP and TCP ports are not being blocked by my network, nor windows firewall. I even took my desktop out of the double NAT. And I was still getting this error. I am now weeks into troubleshooting and just launching the game to test connection has resulted in steam logging 81 minutes of playtime. That does not include troubleshooting while the game was not running for testing. I am realistically more than a couple hours into this. SO, I read something in a very obscure forum that there could be some sort of account linking issue. This is where, I think, I have identified the issue at. Logging into my EA account and navigating to the linked account page it says my steam account is not linked. Great, all I have to do is link and I can play the game. Of course not, that would be too easy. The page gave me an error saying that my steam account was already linked to my EA account. Strange. So I logged out of my EA account and tried Steam SSO to login to EA and it prompted my for my email address. Entering that gave me yet another error saying that it could not log me into me EA account. After back and forth with this thing, I used a different email address and that finally logged me into my EA account properly, it was showing all my account links again and all looked good. If you think I should've been able to play BF6 by this point you'd be wrong. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here begging for an EA rep to reach out to me. I was still getting that error. I downloaded the EA App for windows to look around and found that my Steam account is out of sync and it does not recognize that I own BF6. This is why I think I am running into an authentication issue due to a faulty link or whatever is wrong with my account(you'll see what I mean). I gave up, I went to create a support case. But some very strange things have happened to my EA account now. on the profile screen, I have the correct username and the account creation date shows 2018. Sounds about right. The case creation form shows a random string for the username and says the account was created in 2025. Obviously, it can't be both. Submitting the form doesn't throw a visible exception, but it does not seem to actually submit as it is being submitted to an account that is somehow me but not me and doesn't exist as I never created it. So, EA does not have email support that I can find. Nor could I find a phone line to call. If community members have any suggestions, I am all ears. For EA mods and/or support reps, I beg of you to put me in contact with someone to assist me in this issue as I clearly cannot do it myself and am unable to reach out to someone because of this account issue.39Views0likes0Comments
