EA Play Subscription Purchased on Steam
I purchased EA Play for a year at a discount in february and after i download a game on steam it doesn't work when launching from steam or EA Play. The game crashes at the anticheat start-up but then it does this verify game files process and it does nothing. I've reinstalled it and reverified the files before launching and after downloading a game like Madden 26 it shows up in my ea library but BF3 just gets stuck on downloading PnkBstr and doesn't show up in my ea library. Old games like dungeon keeper gold edition work though! I also filed a ticket on steamProplems with paying on the EA App
If i want to pay with Paypal, the window for Paypal opens and i log in but then it doesn´t load properly. And if i want to pay per card they don´t accept it. Everywhere else i can pay with my Visa card put not with EA. I originally wanted to purchase Snowy escape and when it didn´t worked on the App i wanted to purchase it over the website but it isn´t on there apparently. What do i do now?13Views0likes0CommentsEA App not recognizing PC Game Pass / EA Play
Hello, my EA Play entitlement through Xbox PC Game Pass is not syncing properly to my EA account. The Issue: My Xbox app confirms I have Game Pass and shows EA Play games as ready to install. My EA app is logged in, and my Xbox account shows as "Linked" in the connections menu. Despite this, the EA App treats me like a free user. It prompts me to purchase the game or buy a separate EA Play subscription. I have already verified that the correct Xbox account is linked to this specific EA account. Any help in forcing the EA app to recognize my Game Pass sub would be appreciated!100Views0likes3CommentsI got double charged. Help me

Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!28KViews7likes214CommentsMissing Game In Library
I had purchased Fifa 16 back in 2016 on Origin, but now in my EA app, I don't see the game. I have all the other games I had purchased before EA app replaced Origin, but Fifa 16 is missing. I've contacted EA support several times and I have tried all the steps they suggested such as clearing cache, restarting the app, checking hidden games folder, logging out and in, but still no success. Any suggestion would be great!61Views0likes0CommentsInvalid License error on all EA games via Steam (account issue)
I am facing an "Invalid License" error across multiple EA games including A Way Out and Friends Pass. I have already tried: Reinstalling EA App and games Clearing cache and deleting license files Relinking Steam account Running SFC and DISM system repairs Resetting network (DNS, Winsock) Non-EA Steam games work fine. The issue affects multiple EA titles, confirming this is not a system issue but an EA account license validation problem. EA support marked my case as "No Fix Available", and advisors cannot assist further. Case ID: 240897920 Error Report ID: d515ed56-71bc-4d74-bf0f-f3c551ca211a I am also unable to unlink/relink again due to EA’s 6-month restriction. Please advise or escalate this to the appropriate team.65Views0likes0CommentsNo play or download button for Sims4
I have no idea what happened here. I personally has never had a steam account. The app is installed in our computer, but only my husband has an account and he hasn’t played in weeks. I tried to open Sims4 today and it suddenly said “managed by steam” and asked me to login through that. I saw no reason for it suddenly to be linked to steam so I went to my account settings and lo and behold my ea account was linked to his steam so I unlinked them. I restarted the computer, tried to reopen the ea app, and now it only says that I own the standard edition of Sims4, but there is no play button. It also says my program file is located in the steam file and it’s now only on my husband’s account. I can’t redownload it either from ea because the download button is greyed out. What do I do???
