How to Download Sims 4 on Mac with EA APP

Hey Y'all,

I just bought a pack for sims 4 through the website for the EA App/ Origin for Mac. I have been trying to figure out how to Download the sims 4 for Mac via EA App for the past few days and for some reason it isn't allowing it. Every time I click on the sims 4 free to play download through EA App/ Origin is takes me to the ea app download screen which I have already downloaded. I have sims 4 on my Playstation but wanted to switch over to my computer. I know I needed to buy packs and such again but can someone assist with the download for the sims 4 through ea app via Mac? I have  an updated model and meet all the specific requirements for download.
