I cannot launch Sims 4

I logged on this afternoon to play Sims 4 and it is telling me that my EA membership has expired and to manage my membership options. I haven't had an EA membership in years and I own my game as well as all DLC. I have tried repairing and relocating the game, but it still will not allow me to play without managing my membership options. I have tried launching both from the origin app and from the desktop icon.
