I'm having this same problem.  My library is showing those black boxes just like that since Tuesday maybe.  I can only launch my games in offline mode from outside the app.  If EA is in online mode, I can't launch any of the games.

    @morepanthersI uninstalled the EA app, restarted the computer, reinstalled and same issue.  Ran the App Recovery from the help menu too.
