Are you using Pi-Hole or another ad-blocker in your network?
I had the exact same problem and the solution was to whitelist sdk.split.io .
Thank you kind sir, sorted it immediately. I use Pi-Hole for DNS filtering and that was the fix. Back online now. Cheers.
You were right ! My VPN was causing the issue !

Really stupid that they load external Librarys for their App...
Great that the App gets unusable if something like that is blocked - seems it was the right Decision to cancel my Subscription.
