I cant login to ea app pop up window

I can log in to my EA account through a web browser but every time i try to log in via the pop up window it won't recognize my password (even though I just changed it).  The pop up window also freezes and i usually have to "force quit" to close the window.  Signing in via the pop up window on the ea app is the only way i can access my game (Sims 4).  Please help asap!
