I can't open my EA app on MAC

Every time I click the EA app, it has the black dot under it like the app is opened, and the "connecting to EA app" screen comes up. And then... nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, shut down my MacBook and reopened it, cleared caches, deleted my antivirus app, and a number of other things. I'm on a 13" MacBook Pro with MacOS sequoia installed, although not the most recent version. I'll try updating my laptop and see...

    I had this same problem! Right/double click on the ea app and go to the package contents, and then open Contents > Applications > EALaunchHelper.app. That worked for me! 🙂
