I Can't Open the App - Background Services Crashed

So, I've been trying to open the app, and the Sims 4, but neither will open. I get a message from the EA app that the background services crashed. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, but...

Yeah! It’s not opening for me neither. I’ve been trying to open the app so I can upload the new updates for The Sims 4 since EA said we won’t be able to play the game properly if we don’t do it until 06/10. It’s been a week now and I’m afraid to lose my game 😓
