I can't pause download also cancel download as well (Can't pause or cancel)

I use MacBook and Window (PC) complete different set up but facing the same problem, both computer can not pause download also cancel download as well. At first I'm trying to download the Sim 4, both of the computer is stuck at 5.10GB/21.90GB. Both of calculated time say it need 200k hrs to download.I try to cancel the download, now both of the PC is stuck in the situation of can't pause or cancel. Please help.
