Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Anytime you play offline because you do not have internet at home, the EA app tells me I have a licensing issue.
What happens when the bug occurs? I am unable to play Sims 4
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to play my single-player game without internet connection.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I have played Sims 4 offline, without internet for a long while. It is only recently, in the past month or so, that I have not being able to play offline no matter what I do. I do not have internet at home, so anytime I need to update or want to purchase new content, I have to travel to a place that has free wi-fi. So this new bug is really frustrating. I thought my game needed updates or clearing. I have the most updated version and everything works FINE once I have internet connection. Are there steps I can take to fix this?
@GiardiniDiMarzoOh. I had no Idea. I used to be able to play without any internet connection as long as as I had "keep me signed-in" checked. It's silly to have changed it like that. I now have to drive 20 minutes to the closest free Wi-Fi to play. I don't even have a enough cell service for a hot-spot at my house. Very disappointed with this change if they did it by design.
