Summarize your bug I can't play the sims offline without first connecting to my limited Wi-Fi and then I can play offline. Then the offline ability is unlocked for 2 hours tops.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. Maybe trying to launch sims or EA app offline without any internet.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't play the sims offline when I click on the EA app shortcut or on the Sims 4 shortcut. And instead get a couldn't connect to servers error even though I am signed in offline.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to play sims without internet. This has been going on for nearly a week and before that I had the EC:201 and EC:204 for 2 weeks before.
I don't know why this bug is happening and I've tried everything so I'm posting it here in case other people are having the same issue.
I have tried:
I found out my game can online play offline if I login and then go offline again but if I ever get my internet back I can't play offline until I repeat the steps again. Still not fixed but hopefully that helps someone.
