@stephfourie I have heard this from other players. Unfortunately, the only workaround I have heard of is that you have to login when connected, and then choose to go offline. I assume you'd have to either do this while you have viable internet, or take a laptop somewhere where there is free wifi (mobile hotspot maybe if you have a desktop PC). I am uncertain if you'd then need to leave the EA app running as long as you'd like to stay logged in. I hope this changes soon, though, as many players do not have reliable internet connections.
