Impossible to launch Sims 4 without Internet connection

Product: The Sims 4 Platform:PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? I can't launch it, so...

Click the 3 bars in the EA App then click Go Offline.

Except you can't do this if the EA app won't launch because you aren't connected to the internet and cannot connect to the internet if you have a service outage or are travelling and cannot access internet ect.
