Hello, I’ve seen old posts but nothing recent. I need to be able to play Sims 4 offline while on trips with no internet or cell phone service. I’m playing on Steam Deck through Steam and Sims 4 launches through the EA app. I can’t get it to work offline though. Is this possible?
On a side note, I considered downloading Sims 4 on my MacBook and trying to play offline through that device, but when I go to the Origin app on my Mac, there is no download option for Sims (photo attached). Is there a workaround to either of these in order for me to play offline?

I heard they killed the Origin app. I miss it like crazy now. It wasn't perfect but youcould at least play single player games offline for as long as you needed to. I feel like this should be wrong, Literally a single player game that I have owned for years and played easily without wifi in the past and now I need internet just to launch the game for no other reason than because EA said so. I'm actually considering downloading the pirated cracked version just so I can play the game undisturbed.
