@MelleaB Hello, I hope I can help you somewhat resolve your issue!

The EA app can run on Windows 7 but only the 64 bit version.
Please check whether your PC is 32 bit or 64 bit.

If it's 32 bit, then I'm sorry but the EA app will not be downloadable on your PC.
