Issue with EA app and explorer.exe in Windows 11 pro
Every time i run a game which launches the EA App, afterwards the quick settings widget in windows 11 fails to work. I have to restart the Explorer.exe in task manager, for the widget to work again. It does not matter what game im running, as long as it runs or opens the EA App. I am using windows 11 Pro 23H2 with all microsoft updates. This is a new PC with i9 13900K and 32GB Ram. All drivers and software is up to date.
I have also noticed, that as soon as you run the EA app there are multiple instances of the EACefSubProcess.exe running in the background (see attached file). If I finish a game, and quit, then want to run another game that uses the EA App it gets stuck on "Preparing game" and I have to manually quit the EAbackground service, before the game will launch. I also was subscribed to the EA Play, and then added xbox pass, I now constantly get a popup message which sometimes i cant close saying "im double subscribed" even though i have cancelled my EA Play subscription, which is confirmed in my account on EA website (see attached file).
