i've lost all my sims game history, when switching from Origin to EA app

I re-downloaded origin from browser after resetting up my laptop. It came up with a notification to download EA app instead. I have done this, and logged into my account. The Sims 4 app is still ther...

@izzykeeling  Your saves and other user data are only stored locally on your laptop, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  If you don't have a backup copy of this folder, everything is gone, unfortunately.

If you happen to use OneDrive (Windows) or iCloud Drive (macOS), it's worth checking there to see whether any of your data was synced.  This could have happened automatically, so you might get lucky.
