@kb123604 today I tried again after updating the OS on my pc, nothing changed. Did a ticket again (c8b5640e-b2b4-4e2c-90df-6c8a47f6e093)
Sorry for the delayed response @ArtemeSAS .
Our dev team is wondering if you are able to create/edit files in C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop on your device?
We believe this is a type of permission or network attached storage error that the app is not handling gracefully. Could there be a custom setup on your device like virtualization or use of network drives, or network backups?

@SansGelatineHi, i tried to create a new file and it asked for some permissions. So I tried to reinstall the EA app in an other disk (using a guide in an other forum post) and the app installed well, i can create files in the EA Desktop folder but the problem is still there, still the download restart. New ticket here (9bf8595d-67d5-4540-b272-3ad73d4e2b04)

EA app Team
Thanks for the update @ArtemeSAS . Our dev team continues to investigate and wanted to share a deeper explanation of the problem.
EA app uses C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop to store game download progress so that it can be paused and resumed later. This is regardless of which folder or disk you install EA app on.
We noticed in the logs that when writing to this location Windows returns an error "1460 - Timeout". That is why we're curious about network backed storage or a file permission issue.
Here are a few questions and next steps we would appreciate if you could try:- Are you using any IT tools to provision or manage your devices?
- Could something like WinRM be in use to provide remote management access?
- Is your account an administrator on the device, and if so could you try changing the permissions so that the service admin user can write to that folder?
- If you aren't the administrator, could you speak to one to make this update?
- The "SYSTEM" and your personal account need read and write access to C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop
- Are you using any IT tools to provision or manage your devices?
