License file issues and general problems in EA app
Hello. I would like to talk about license file errors in old games and general errors that I have experienced in the EA app. I have encountered these three problems so far. I have managed to find temporary solutions to these problems, but I would like to see a permanent solution worked on.
- Activation problem in Plants vs. Zombies GOTY Edition - I first experienced this problem a few months ago. EA says that this is an issue affecting old titles and that it is a local issue. It is said that this problem is being investigated, but it has not been resolved for two years. There were no such problems in Origin. I have had these problems since I switched to the EA App. I solved this problem by deleting the license files, but I am afraid it will happen again in the future.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 activation issues - Similar to the issue above, I am also experiencing a license file issue with this game. Unfortunately, deleting the license files did not help with this issue. I have the disc for this game. Playing with the disc partially solved the issue. But later I was able to find a solution to this issue. Unlike Plants vs Zombies, logging in with an EA Account in the Activation section solved this issue for this game. The license files were downloaded and this issue was resolved. However, when I install the game on a new computer or reinstall it, I have to do the same thing again.
- Sometimes strangely some games in my library do not appear. This problem is very rare and EA App recovery solves this problem. However, it is very bad to see this problem even though it is rare. Sometimes EA app does not see the installed games. For this problem, restarting my computer solved the problem.
