EA App for MAC won't even Launch
Origin forced a switch to EA App but clearly EA hasn't bothered to make sure the App works before rolling it out.
The EA App won't launch when clicked. The Icon just bounces three times and nothing happens.
Used the migration tool.
Manually uninstalled origin because the migration tool didn't do that.
Downloaded and reinstalled EA App from the EA website.
Did that twice.
Manual Cleared Cache.
All other topics on this at least get an error.
This won't even launch.
The community manager in other related topics seems to hide their ineptitude by pointing to fixes that don't work or asking for data on the computer. This is a Mac sub-forum. There''s very little variation in software and hardware environments by design so it should be pretty easy to replicate a fault that is this widespread,

Sounds like you're running into an unfortunate issue alright.When you try to start the app and it doesn't want to open, do you still see an EA process in the Activity Monitor? If so, could you:Try to quit that process or anything related to EA,Reboot your machine,Open your Terminal on your Mac and type *snip*, press enter, and follow the on-screen steps,See if the client launches without issues.
