Merging Sims accounts

I have been playing the Sims 4 on my desktop for a couple of years now. I just recently got a MacBook Air and wanted to play on there too, so I made another account under the same email address on accident through Origin since the EA app wasn't available on Macs yet. I was wondering if it is possible to merge both of the accounts, and if it is will my saves on both remain? I have all of my packs on my desktop account, which was through Steam, will those stay during the merge as well? I hope I make sense!
@luciferssibling Normally you could merge your two accounts and have access to all your content. However, the Steam version of Sims 4 is Windows-only, so you couldn't use any Steam-owned content on your Mac. In fact, having the Steam version of the base game on your account could prevent you from launching the EA version on your Mac at all. So I would suggest NOT merging your accounts just to avoid this issue.
The Steam/Windows restriction is by design, and there's no way around it other than somehow running Windows on your Mac.
