My EA app keeps crashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and restarted everything. Every time it crashes, it takes the game I'm playing with it so I keep having to restart at the same spot, please...

Summarize your bug Just updated the EA app and it keeps crashing, tried restarting the computer, still crashes
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? start the EA App after updating
What happens when the bug occurs? Error Message saying 'unexpected crash' and that restarting should fix it but it doesn't
What do you expect to see? EA App starting so I can play the games I payed for

It's not the Anti Virus, just tested. It's still crashing.
The App doesn't start at all, I just get the window with the error message that it crashed so I can't do a repair.I have this issue too. I deleted the APP and reinstalled it, same thing.
It has been two days now since EA made me update the APP whereupon it started crashing.There is no option to not update.
It was working fine before.
I hope they fix it before the weekend so i can play the games i paid for.
I have run manually the EAUpdater.exe.
After that update the APP starts as usual.

I tried your suggestion - running the eaupdater.exe manually - located at C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop
It opened at DOS box and downloaded and updated, i restarted my PC and the same thing happened - APP crashed

I also have this issie too. BF2024 does not boot while I just expensed season 7 passport. I can not play BF2042. From Japan. I am sad.
Same here. When I run 2042 from Steam it boots me off Wi-Fi and the EA app looses connection. Kill the game and everything comes back up! It's crazy! Everything else works 100% flawless..
