My expansion pack is gone

I had my EA account for several years on my computer with CD access. I bought the Cats and Dogs expansion pack on CD. Now I have a new laptop and couldn't log into my old account, so I had to create new one, but I don't have CD access on the laptop, so now I can't play with the expansion pack. Do you have any idea what I can do now, or do I have to buy it again? Thank you.

ryucqg4r9s6e Your expansion is tied to your account, so unless you can recover that account, you'll need to purchase the pack again. EA customer support can sometimes help with account recovery.

If you can't get your old account back, wait for a sale of Sims 4 content. Expansions are often 50-60% off, and sales happen every couple of months.
