EA App crashing

I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with this after already trying quite a few troubleshooting steps. Since you’ve repaired and reinstalled the EA app and also verified the game files through Steam, there are a couple of other things we can try to help narrow this down.

First, please try clearing the EA app cache. Since the app isn’t staying open, you can do this from Windows by opening the Start menu > All Apps > EA > App Recovery > Clear Cache. Once that’s done, restart your PC and try opening the EA app again.

It would also be helpful if you could attach a DxDiag, along with a screenshot of the cloud sync error you receive when trying to launch College Football 27. Those may give us a better idea of what’s happening and where the problem is occurring.

I have a solution for EA.

Stop making users install the launcher. I just want the game to run directly. There was never a problem with having games run directly in the past. 

Why do companies push crashy software on customers that causes 30 minute black screens and prevents our paid items from working. 

This in turn causes frustrated customers. How many frustrated customers do you want to lose?

Please try the following steps in order:

1. Your DxDiag also shows repeated Windows system-level crashes involving ntdll.dll, so I’d recommend repairing Windows system files. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, followed by sfc /scannow, then restart the PC. -

2. If the EA app still crashes, try a clean boot, restart the PC, and try launching the EA app as Administrator. This can help identify whether another background application or service is conflicting with the EA app.
