Dear @EA
I would'nt have any problem with a new client software. But the minimum requierement should be, that the new software works as "good" as the old one, BEFORE you switch off the old one!
As a matter of fact, Origin was turned off before the new EA App actually and in its entirety worked.
It seems that you are doing it with the EA App the same way now as you are doing it with your games: Bringing them to the market no matter if they are finalized or not.
Best current example: UNBOUND which I luckily refunded just in time.
Maybe your are pushed by your equity holders to do so, but this won't work long-lasting since even very patient customers will say at a point: Enough is enough!
Regarding the EA App: With Origin I could play until Thursday "Hot Pursuit 2010". I have to play the old / original version since you never patched the remastered (2020) to make it playable again with a wheel - but this is another story.
Even if it's not my duty, I've checked the whole forum for any solution but nothing works.
The error: "Double-check your connection, or try again later." stays. No matter what I try.
Funny: The "Remastered" Version (which I could not play with wheel) starts without any problems... So it could NOT be a connection problem.
On the whole: I can't play anything currently and honestly I'm to lazy to test all my other games, since I'm not your guinea pig!
My (last) proposal: Bring Origin back without forcing to the EA App until the EA App actually works as it should. This should be the least thing that you owe your customers*.
*For your equity holders: Customers are that stupid folks like me, who pay for the games. Just a reminder.
