I have to agree, it makes starting the game virtually impossible. I play single player but I cannot figure out how the new app allows this. Trying to start a game the app tells to either 'make sure my game is installed properly ',or, the 'game is already playing, please stop it before starting mew game'.
EA are not known for their sense of altruism or for the strength of support so I have to wonder why the new app and who sees any advantage - it's certainly not the players!
'As a bonus, *EA App* users will no longer be automatically signed out when launching from Battlelog'... Why must we be stay logged on using up resources and;
Why is the app mandatory? parts are still running after closing the game, why? what information is it gathering in the background? Is this some sort of spyware?
It costs time and money to develop an app, EA 'aint doing it for free or 'cos they love us!!!
