I just updated my PC and was looking forward to hopping back into Anthem. I have 1000 hours in the game and never had an issue on Origin. Ever since I was forced to use the EA app it no longer works for me. @EA This is unacceptable and I will be seeking refunds if this issue isn't resolved. It seems like many have been waiting months to play. This is embarrassing and unacceptable. Please escalate this until it is fixed.
@EA_Illium What's EA's official response. This game does not work, and EA's insistence on making us use the EA app instead of Origin is preventing us from playing our games. Can you just do this? Force us our of the games we paid money for? I know Anthem is basically on life support right now, but that still doesn't mean you can just forget about us. Please resolve this issue or give us some insight into what is being done to help us out. This is absurd and highly unprofessional.

Anthem, a game I own, will not launch through the EA App. I get an error saying the problem is on their end.
I bought a month of EA Pro to play Jedi Survivor and did nothing else.
Anthem now launches through the EA app.
I talked to chat support. They said the problem is not on their end.

I'm having the exact same situation. I already own the game. I have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes EA Play. The game did not work for me when I tried playing it. I purchased EA Play Pro to play Jedi Survivor and now I can open Anthem without issue. There is definitely something wrong on EA's side with permissions through EA Play from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Can someone at EA please fix this?
