Join the club, everyone's having the same "Failed to launch game" problem. It seems that everyone that played Anthem since Origin Launcher facing this exact issue.
My friends bought Anthem on EA store recently, they're fine and enjoying their time grinding in the game

Well, here I am joining the club too apparently.
Not only do I own the game from the Origin days, I am also subscribed to EA Play through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. And yet no dice, cannot play because of this issue.
