Pack stuck on preparing in EA App for Mac

I have a Mac but Origin keeps telling me to upgrade to the EA app, even though there isnt one for mac, I havent been able to play ANY of my games when i did update, and they have been 'preparing' to ...

@JoSigs_hssb  Please create an EA App error report, as descibed here:

and post the report ID in this thread.  There's a Windows thread about this same issue, but I don't want to merge your post with that since it's not clear whether that iteration of the error is OS-specific.  Either way, a report ID would be the first request from EA people looking into the problem.
