Pack stuck on preparing in EA App for Mac

I have a Mac but Origin keeps telling me to upgrade to the EA app, even though there isnt one for mac, I havent been able to play ANY of my games when i did update, and they have been 'preparing' to ...

Download on EA App for mac stuck on "preparing". EA app suggest clearing cache via three dashes on far left - for the life of me i cannot see these three dashes on EA for Mac
