Summarize your bug After logging into the EA App, the app opens to the hub screen for a few seconds before crashing and displaying a dialog saying "The app crashed unexpectedly". The cycle repeats if I click on the restart app button in the dialog.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the app, log in (if not already) and wait a couple seconds for it to inevitably crash.
What happens when the bug occurs? The app crashes and displays a dialog saying "The app crashed unexpectedly"
What do you expect to see? The app should not crash and I should be able to play games I have purchased.
This has been going on for about a week now. The newest updated version of the app was said to fix this issue but it hasn't for me.

Since an update on 19th of March 2024 the EA App crashes unexpectedly every time it is started on my Windows 7 64bit PC (6 Games installed). It has been working fine before. Clearing the cache did not yield results, deactivating Bitdefender (Antivirus) did not yield results, Windows 7 is the most actual state possible. Edit: Complete deinstallation and new installation did not yield any result, the App still crashes after I logged into my EA-Account. EA Error Reporter ID: 065088a1-34af-415c-b6b9-fd6db595fca7

my EA app has decided not to run anymore. Every time I try to open it, it opens a window with a error message, saying something went wrong.
So far I have tried to restart the PC (several times), repair the app, clear the app cache and de- and reinstalled the app (several times).
No luck so far. I've seen this be an issue for multiple players in the last months
Do you have any tips to try or estimates as to when this bug will be fixed?

Same thing happens to me. I've tried everything, repaired the app, cleared the cache, rebooted, reinstalled, everything. And EA just ignores all my requests, emails, tweets, everything. EA doesn't care about its users.
