Summarize your bug After logging into the EA App, the app opens to the hub screen for a few seconds before crashing and displaying a dialog saying "The app crashed unexpectedly". The cycle repeats if I click on the restart app button in the dialog.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the app, log in (if not already) and wait a couple seconds for it to inevitably crash.
What happens when the bug occurs? The app crashes and displays a dialog saying "The app crashed unexpectedly"
What do you expect to see? The app should not crash and I should be able to play games I have purchased.
This has been going on for about a week now. The newest updated version of the app was said to fix this issue but it hasn't for me.

The EA app does not open up at all for the last 2 days.
I always get the same error message:
app crashed unexpectedly.
I can't access the EA app at all.
I only play Sims 4 via the EA app/on my PC.
I tried multiple things to fix this, and spoke with 3 EA advisors, but nothing has helped.
I tried the following:
-Made sure my Windows and Visual c++ is up to date. (I uninstalled and newly installed Visual c++).
- Checked my internet connection, it is stable and fast.
- Cleared my PC space.
- Run a clean boot/PC.
- Cleared the app data cache for anything EA related.
- No other apps etc run in the background or systems blocking the app.
- Deinstalled my Anti Virus program.
- Turned down my UAC.
- Unplugged the PC, waited and plugged back in.
- Renamed the EA folders.
- Set EA App to run as administrator.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App multiple times.
- Deleted the Sims 4 folder.
- Uninstalled Sims 4.
It is extremely frustrating having paid a lot of money for the games, and not being able to play them. I am literally reformatting my whole PC which has been very stressful the past 2 day's. And not to mention how very upsetting it is to now maybe have lost all my gaming progress in the process.
All was fine on Wednesday evening, and then Thurs morning the App no longer works. Nothing has changed on my PC within a couple of hours.
