PC EA app - "The app crashed unexpectedly" or "Background Services Crashed"

Same issue as everyone else here, whenever i try to start up the ea app it crashes. On occasion it loads a screen asking me to sign in but i haven't been able to ever sign in before it crashes. I have tried all of the common fixes such as repairing the app, uninstalling and reinstalling, a few things in command prompt, attempting to manually clear the cache, etc. I have never had the chance to run an update as the app always crashes, 100% of the time
