Plants VS Zombies Game of the Year Edition not working? Whenever I go into Plants VS Zombies Game of the Year Edition it just says fatal error in the corner and I have to close it using task manager. I have already tried registry editor it doesn't even show screen mode inside of the plants vs zombies folder when I go into registry editor and I am on Windows 10 and downloaded it off of EA Desktop does anyone know the problem?
Hello, here a possible solution for Fatal error problem with PvsZ:
Press win+r, regedit (Enter the Windows registry editor) Path to:
User\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\PopCap\PlantsVsZombies
You likely don't have a ScreenMode key. (If you do, ensure that it is set to 0).
Right click the empty area aside the existing keys and click:
New > DWORD (32-bit) Value
Name this new key: ScreenMode
and ensure its value is set to 0. You should now be able to close the editor and the game will run in windowed mode and stop crashing.

DICE TeamHey, @OAnnihilatesYOUU make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC.
You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Plants VS Zombies and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
