Please help me Mac Catalina origin to ea app

Whenever I try to download the new EA App because Origin said so, it downloads for awhile and says mounting ea app but then seconds later it tells me that unmounting ea app, I already tried deleting the download cache from origin but nothing works, does anyone know a way out of this? I've been wanting to play Sims 4 but now I can't because of this issue, please help

    I have the same problem @reignism ! I spoke to EA support, they're aware of the issue, say they're working on it.. so who knows how long it'll take lol

    This is what happens when I download the EA app directly from Origin, it doesn't do anything and just crashes while origin app closes. I don't know whats bugging behind downloading the EA app
