Oh, I can update alright.
Yesterday morning, I spent an hour chatting with Tech support about this problem. They had me do many things to my PC and none of it worked. I even went so far as to wipe my C drive and reinstall Windows and that still did not fix the problem.
The problem is on their end, just like the error says. It has always been on their end and it will always be on their end until they fix it.
All I can add is that my copy of Anthem was a box copy and I registered the code through Origin. Later I upgraded to the Legion of Dawn edition and that's what the EA app says I own.
