Hi @whygai,

It looks like this is a message from the macOS system itself, that asks you for permission to let the EA app so something (probably an update).

In these fields, you do not need to enter your EA credentials, but your macOS user account name and password.

We've explained it here in more detail, from the EA app Troubleshooting guide:

  1. You might be asked to allow permission for the clear cache process to run. Please enter your macOS local account username and your macOS local user account password. Not your EA account email address and password! If you forgot your user or account name on Mac, please click here for more info.

  • I just tried this and it still says it’s wrong by doing that highlighted shake thing

    @breflemm, we can't really help you with this as there's no way for us to know your macOS user account name and password, this is something you can only know yourself.

    If you do not have a password on your user account on your Mac, just pressing the enter button should work and allow the process to finish.
