I am an existing user and today during start of the client it wanted to update and was stuck and crashed after some time , reinstall does not continue with download . This must be an issue with EA servers , i hope they will fix it soon since i want to play during weekend.
I actually fixed it. When looking through the logs, The App installer connects to a website and tries to download the actual files needed in order to properly install the App:
I connected to a VPN near the location of this website and entered the link into my webbrowser. Without a VPN i had really bad download speeds. After installing the file i executed it and it just simply installed. Idk why they cant just provide the .msi file...
