Re: EA app on Mac always requires admin password

Hi everyone,

Just for the record: When the “Enable background services” setting is toggled off in your EA app for Mac settings, it is working as intended that on every boot of the client, the macOS prompt to input your macOS username and password pops up.

I hope this clarifies a few things.

I've got "Enable Background Services" turned on, and the EA app still requires my password. The Origin app did the same thing, and no one seems to know exactly how to make it stop.

Its super annoying. I have other users who cant use it because I am admin and I need to always log in with my mac details. What sort of program is this? Its annoying to keep signing in. I paid for sims not for ea
