I receved that error whenever i tried to logging in into my account. 

I already tried to uninstall and install the app 

I also tried to log in with a different account. Still, the issue remains 

Check server status zip 87112

When i try and login - it says "Login Failed. We couldn't log you in because the network failed to do its network thing. Try again in a few minutes. Error Code: EC:10005"

Anyone know how to fix?

I am not able to get into my account. What do i need to do? 

I got fed up with not being able to log into my account because of error 10005, and I can't even unsubscribe because ironically I would have to do it from my account. You don't even offer customer service; We are even the users who have to give ourselves technical support in your forum!

servers are down, no explanation why, also blaming user connection when its obviously not

I'm having the same problem.  My (uneducated) guess is that it's an EA issue, and we may just have to wait for it to be resolved.

running app as administrator
compatibility mode no success
flush DNS no success
reset network adapters no success
repair EA app no success
no firewall or windows defender interaction, not being blocked by firewall


for reference I have tried launching the app via shortcut, via direct app launch, and via a game through steam that launches the EA app.

I can't log into EA, error EC:10005

I just want to be able to play sims!!! If i delete EA completely will my mods and CC BE GONE!?! PLEASE HELPPP

I have an 10005 error when I try to Login to my account.

-I already checked the internet status and its okay

-I already changed the pswd

-I already erased the cache

But the ERROR stills

So, I know I'm not the only one with this issue right now considering I've been reading through a lot of these posts earlier today and I talked to my friends and they're having the same problem.

Every time for the past few hours I have tried to log in to launch the Ea app it gives me an error message saying "We couldn't log you in because the network failed to do it's network thing. Error code:EC10005."

I have been looking up every single "fix" and I have tried everything, and I don't know what else to do. The app was working just fine for me earlier today when I was redownloading some of my expansion packs for the Sims but once I tried to play it the app logged me out and every time I try to log back in it gives the same error code.

If anyone knows what's going on or of the servers are down or something, please let me know. 

It must be a server issue. I can log onto the website (here) just fine, so clearly not an internet issue.

Extremely disappointed as I just bought ME:LE through Steam a few days ago and decided to buy Andromeda today. Too bad I can't play my game since their servers are offline. Really doesn't seem like a me problem.

EA Play app Servers are down. 

I am having the same problem, I have tried two different accounts on two different computers. It seems like the servers are down.

Continually getting EC105. EA app comes up with this code or something like oops something went wrong, or some other rubbish. When I wake my computer up, select a game, EA app comes up with this mishmash! Almost everytime! When is EA app going to be fixed?

It's been about a month, and no answers, great job morons. Never playing any of EA * games again.

Yeah, this is nuts. I have other people in a discord call with me now who are able to use the app, too. which is crazy to me.

EA Servers are experiencing issues.  If you check Down Detector, it'll show there are thousands of reports of EA Servers being offline currently hence the sign in issues.  I'm experiencing the same issue and receiving the same error code.  It'll stop doing that once EA fixes their servers.
