Re: My EA app keeps crashing.

It's not the Anti Virus, just tested. It's still crashing.
The App doesn't start at all, I just get the window with the error message that it crashed so I can't do a repair.

I have this issue too. I deleted the APP and reinstalled it, same thing.

It has been two days now since EA made me update the APP whereupon it started crashing.There is no option to not update.

It was working fine before.

I hope they fix it before the weekend so i can play the games i paid for.

I have run manually the EAUpdater.exe.

After that update the APP starts as usual.

I tried your suggestion - running the eaupdater.exe manually - located at C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

It opened at DOS box and downloaded and updated, i restarted my PC and the same thing happened - APP crashed

Have you tried the other exe files within this folder?

Before I manually updated, I opened the EA_launcher or any other EA***** file, I don'r remember what file it was, but then the laucher started....

Nothing changed here, I just tried and the app still crashes at start.

Absolutely correct, i am wondering to myself why would EA do this to paying customers?

i mean fixing the issue then a few hours later the problem is back again, what are they thinking?

I also have this issie too. BF2024 does not boot while I just expensed season 7 passport. I can not play BF2042. From Japan. I am sad.

Same here. When I run 2042 from Steam it boots me off Wi-Fi and the EA app looses connection. Kill the game and everything comes back up! It's crazy! Everything else works 100% flawless..
