Re: [Old Reports] - EA App Launch Error EC:105

On mine it just seems to be happening on F1 23, all other games seem to launch ok.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no difference. still code EC:105 and asks me to restart the app

    sorry if i have mistakes, but i have to use google translater. 
    I found a solution.
    when the ea app starts, unhook the stay signed in.
    then everything works again without problems.
    deleted everything last night. the games, the app but it didn't work.
    then read in a forum today that there are problems with the app if you stay logged in.
    should have been fixed long ago, but apparently not. In any case, all games are now working again

    No, I think they are saying when you are logging in there is an option to stay signed in, uncheck that then login (you’ll need to log out first if you are already logged in) I haven’t tested this myself yet but I will test

    Hey all,

    I wanted to follow up and see if everyone is running the most current version of the EA App.

    Also, have you manually updated the app, or reinstalled the app from the main EA site?

    A few have listed everything you have tried. This error is very generic, but usually ends up being a version conflict of what you have installed and the install files its loaded onto the PC.

  • yes sign out and then untick the sign in automatically if that dont turn pc on  and off again  try again worked for me

    @EA_Shepard I formatted my computer and downloaded the EA App from EA's official website and it still has the same error (EC:105)
  • I got it to work, but I don't know why....

    When I created my EA account, I used the wrong email account (I have Google and Hotmail). So when I changed EA Pass to my main email account (via account settings), it suddenly worked for whatever reason 🤷‍♂️

    log out, unhook remember me.
    then log in and everything
    works again.
  • @oPortel4 GUYS I manage to solve my EA app

    1- I formatted my computer

    2- I downloaded the EA app from the EA website (before you can not install the EA app from the steam game or the platform you use)

    3- download the game normally through steam or your gaming platform

    I unplugged the WiFi extender I was using and that fixed it
