well, i dunno what is up with the beta forced on everyone ea app now.  but is some sort of work progress being made to fix the offline mode issue?  as i now have 3 of my installed games restored to working offline.  they being, the 2nd and 3rd sims games, plus the alice game.  however, all other games remain with the ec204 error nonsense.  i still say its some sort of issues with their not so well integration of their paid play service.  seems it wants to non-subscribers forced into being online or pay for the privliege to go offline.  i'm hedging my bets if one subscribes to ea play this issue may go away.  however, i will not allow ea to bully me into this.  i have never subbed to ea play nor will i. should have immediately known something was up last month when these periodic popup windows stating ea play has expired messages started showing upon launch of the ea app.  i just ignored them and clicked the x to remove the windows and then now next ea update this mess.  just like the forced install of ea app to remove origin.  then dlc content missing.  the ea app is not ready for primetime yet forced upon customers.  one thing gets fixed then it's another issue, after issue.

I was able to do this as well but after an hour or more into my game it crashed and I ended up in the same place with expired license and log in online

@peachiecandie Yes, sadly it doesn't fix anything.  But if you have internet access and can only stay online for a short period of time, that's one way to do it until the issue gets fixed.  Sorry to hear you don't have any internet access.  How do you update your game or download expansion/game/stuff/kit packs?
